Terms of Service
Last updated October 9, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("we", "us"), the company that runs OmegleLife at https://omeglelife.com. By ticking the 18+ box or using the site, you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use OmegleLife.
OmegleLife is not affiliated with Omegle.com. Omegle closed in November 2023, and we have no link to it or to its former owners.
Who can use OmegleLife
You must be at least 18 years old. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for a service like this, you must meet that age too. Nobody under 18 may use the site, with or without a parent's permission.
When you tick the consent box before your first chat, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. We remember that choice in a cookie for 30 days.
If we have reason to believe a user is under 18, we ban them. The Safety Center explains how we handle reports about minors.
What the service is
OmegleLife pairs you with a random stranger for a one-to-one text or video chat. Chatting is free and needs no account. If you add interests, the matcher looks for someone who shares one for a few seconds, then pairs you with anyone available.
We don't check anyone's identity, and we make no promise about who you will meet. Some people break the rules. You can leave any chat with Stop or the Esc key, and you can report anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
We may change, pause or remove features at any time, and the site may sometimes be down for maintenance or because of an outage.
Acceptable use
The Community Guidelines are part of these terms. In short, you agree not to:
- show or send nudity or sexual content, or sexualise anyone;
- involve, show or target anyone under 18 in any way;
- harass, threaten or abuse people, or attack them for who they are;
- share illegal content, including material that promotes violence or terrorism;
- spam, advertise or run scams, or ask strangers for money, payment details or personal information;
- record, screenshot or stream other people and publish it without their permission;
- reveal someone else's personal details;
- use bots, scripts or automated tools, or interfere with the matcher, the face check, the filters or our servers;
- get around a ban with a new device, network, VPN or account;
- pose as OmegleLife staff or as another real person to mislead people.
Your content
You are responsible for what you type, show and send. You keep whatever rights you have in it. You give us the limited permission we need to deliver your messages, video and files to the person you're chatting with, and to keep the report material described in the Privacy Policy.
We don't store chat messages during normal use. Video goes straight between the two browsers whenever the connection allows it. Photos and videos that Premium users send are deleted after 24 hours.
Moderation, reports and bans
Anyone can report a chat. A report ends the chat for both people. We then keep the last 50 messages and, for video chats, one frame, so our moderators can see what happened. Moderators may ban anyone who breaks these terms or the guidelines. If several different people report the same person within a short time, our system applies a temporary ban without waiting for a moderator.
A ban can cover an IP address, a device, an account, an email address, or a combination. It can last from one hour to permanently. The ban screen shows the reason category, when the ban ends and an email address for appeals. To appeal, write to that address or to [email protected] and tell us why you think the ban is wrong. A person reviews every appeal, but we can't promise a particular outcome or reply time.
Premium users follow the same rules as everyone else. If we ban you for breaking these terms or the guidelines while you have Premium, we don't refund any part of the payment. A ban doesn't pause your subscription or add time to it, and you can still cancel renewal from your account page while banned. If the ban is permanent, we end the subscription so you aren't charged again.
Premium accounts
You create an account only when you buy Premium. You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send to it. There is no password, so anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Keep your email account secure.
The Premium page lists what each plan includes. The gender filter relies on what people say about themselves. We don't verify it, and no filter can guarantee who you'll be matched with.
Payments, renewals and passes
You see the price in US dollars before you pay. Depending on your country, you pay through PayPal, NOWPayments (crypto) or Stripe (card). Those providers handle the payment under their own terms.
Subscriptions paid by PayPal or card renew automatically at the end of each week or month, at the price you agreed to, until you cancel. If we change the price, the new price applies only to renewals after we've told you about it, and you can cancel before then.
Crypto payments buy a pass for a fixed period, such as 7 or 30 days. A pass doesn't renew. We email you about 24 hours before it runs out, and you can buy another if you want to.
If a renewal payment fails, Premium stays on for a 3-day grace period. If the payment still hasn't gone through after that, Premium ends.
If a plan comes with a free trial, the checkout shows how long it lasts and when the first charge happens. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged.
If you open a chargeback or payment dispute, we end Premium straight away and flag the account while the dispute is open. Please email us first, because we can usually fix a billing mistake faster than a bank can.
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel a subscription with one click from your account page or from the link in any receipt email. Premium stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when we give refunds.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, including IP addresses and device identifiers, and how long we keep it. Video chats run peer to peer, so the other person's device can see your IP address unless relay mode is on.
Intellectual property
The site's name, design and code belong to [Company legal name] or its licensors. You may use OmegleLife for personal chatting. You may not copy, resell or scrape it. If you believe someone shared your copyrighted work through the site, follow our DMCA procedure.
Disclaimers and liability
We provide OmegleLife "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we give no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, free of errors or free of bad behaviour by other users.
We aren't responsible for what other users say, show or do. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
These terms don't limit any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. They don't take away your mandatory rights as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can stop using OmegleLife at any time, and Premium users can delete their account from the account page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop running the service. If we shut the service down for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund the unused part of any paid period.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, and the date at the top always shows the current version. Before a significant change takes effect, we'll post a notice on the site, and Premium users will also get an email. If you keep using OmegleLife after the change, the new terms apply to you.
Governing law
The laws of [Jurisdiction] govern these terms. The courts of [Jurisdiction] decide any dispute, unless the consumer law of your country lets you bring a claim in your local courts.
